j.n.n institute of engineering is a private engineering college located in chennai, tamil nadu. jnn institute of engineering was established in the year 2008 and is affiliated with anna university, chennai. j.n.n institute of engineering courses are offered in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, technology and management studies including bachelor of engineering in various disciplines such as computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering, as well as master of engineering programmes in applied electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, and engineering design. the institute has been accredited with an ‘a’ grade by the national assessment and accreditation council (naac) and has been granted autonomy by the university grants commission (ugc).

the institute follows a choice based credit system (cbcs) for its courses. several industry 4.0 courses in computer science engineering, ai & data science, cybersecurity, electronics & communication engineering, biomedical engineering, agriculture engineering, robotics & automation, and mba in hr, finance and business analytics are offered by the institute. as per the j.n.n institute of engineering admission criteria for the mba programme, candidates are selected on the basis of marks in tancet. jnn institute of engineering placement cell helps the students get successfully placed by inviting top companies during the placement drive every year. according to the j.n.n institute of engineering placement reports 2022, 210 students were placed out of a total of 248 registered students. during placements at the j.n.n institute of engineering, students were offered a maximum salary of rs 10.2 lpa. the institute spreads over 50 acres of land. jnnie campus has modern infrastructure and facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a library with a vast collection of books, journals, and e-resources, and a placement cell that provides training and placement opportunities for its students. the college also encourages research and development activities and has collaborations with reputed industries and academic institutions to facilitate the same. it has also established several centres of excellence in 3d printing, ar/vr, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, internet of things, robotics & automation, drone technology and many more and has received funding from organisation such as msme, edi-tn, tnstc, etc.
