sri venkateswara college of engineering & technology was established in the year 1998 and is one of the largest, most popular and sought after institutions in andhra pradesh. it is a private, autonomous college in chittoor, andhra pradesh. the college has been affiliated with jawaharlal nehru technological university ananthapuram (jntua). ugc has recognised the college and has also been approved by the aicte, new delhi. the college has also been accredited by naac with an “a” grade and nba.

the svcet chittoor courses are offered to interested candidates at the diploma, undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. there are a total of 11 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, technology, management and computer applications. all the college courses are available to students in a regular, offline mode. the svec tirupati sri venkateswara college of engineering & technology admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the last qualifying exam. the college accepts a number of entrance tests for admission, including ap eapcet (for b.tech courses), ap ecet (for b.tech lateral entry), ap pgecet (for m.tech courses), ap icet (for mba & mca courses) and ap polycet (for diploma courses).
